What are Mice?
A mouse is a small rodent. Characteristically, mice are known to have a pointed snout, small, rounded ears, a body-length scaly tail, and a high breeding rate. The best-known mouse species is the common house mouse
What do Rats do?
Rats engage in several behaviors that are inherent to their nature, including grooming, digging, exploring, nesting, and scent marking. They are highly social animals that communicate through vocalizations, body language, and pheromones. In the wild, rats scavenge for food, eat grains, kill insects, and consume small birds and mammals. Rats also play a role in reducing environmental waste by consuming food waste and animal remains.
What do mice do?
Mice are primarily nocturnal ground dwellers. They can also climb, leap, and swim. They live in forests, grasslands, and manmade structures. Mice make burrows underground to protect themselves from predators such as cats, birds, wild dogs, and foxes. Mice can migrate into people’s homes in search of food, warmth, or shelter, and can spread diseases. They often cause damage by chewing on wires, books, and toys, or getting into cupboards and spoiling food by gnawing on storage bags and even plastic containers.
